This local favourite gets better each year. The 'microcosmic
Kariba experience' drifting the banks watching game while
casting for Tigers. Each year as we learn the lake and improve
techniques fish numbers and size increase. In settled weather
Trevor Cunningham had a morning session of 11 fish, some rats
and mice one of 9 pounds! Our trump card which we pull out
of the pack on a more regular basis is sight fishing for big
tigers, under the correct wind conditions, certain bays warm
up and have large tigers cruising behind the weed beds. A
stealthy approach with a trolling motor or polling allows
one angler to target specific fish with a floating line and
witness the spectacular crash of a good sized tiger in a foot
of water - if that doesn't get your goat nothing will!
