It does not get more classic than Spey Casting for Atlantic
Salmon. It does not get more classic than Spey Casting for
Atlantic Salmon on the actual River Spey. We fish a prime
beat, in prime time, with both good numbers of grilse and
salmon running the river through the summertime.
5 rods enjoy Carron and Laggan, an exquisite stretch of the
River Spey just outside of the little town of Aberlour, and
in the midst of whisky country, with the world renowned distillery,
Glenfiddich, only a stones throw away.
Our accommodations are at the Rhynagarrie Mill, just minutes
away from the riverside hut at Carron. Rhynagarrie is a restored
mill with superb accommodations, and our local catering comes
in the form of a superb chef Lynda, who ensures the long days
along the riverbank, are finished off in style with a lovely
meal back at the Mill.
Classic lines, classic flies, classic casts. The River Spey
is where it all started, and you will surely leave from the
Spey valley with a feeling of tradition and pride of what
they have to offer.
Water conditions can vary through the summer months, however
it is certain there are fish to be caught, and focussing fishing
around the conditions should ensure a tremendous weeks fishing
by any Salmon fishermans standards. Join us, and experience
classic Atlantic Salmon fishing in surrounds that are not
easy to beat.
