Semperfli Quill Subs are a synthetic peacock quill substitute. This material has the unique multicolour iridescence of natural peacock, but it is more durable and very easy to use. It can be used as ribbing and for imitating wing cases, scud backs and thorax plates. Since it is available in multiple sizes, it is absolutely great for tying different kinds of flies – whether tiny perdigon nymphs with a thin body, dry flies or large salmon flies!
