The Ström fly rods are Loop's latest high performance range and the successor to their ever popular 7X rods.
Created on more than four decades of experience in high performance rod design, the Ström series combines the revolutionary heptagonal (7-sided) cross section first seen in the iconic 7X, with the most advanced carbon matrix Loop has ever put into a fly rod.
Featuring a premium flor cork handle, weight-optimised performance reel seat, custom REC Cerecoil stripping and snake guides, and high grade M40X carbon fibre - Ström delivers a lighter, stronger, more responsive rod, with exceptional recovery and tracking.
Responsive and precise, the Ström single-handed range is built to keep you connected across everything from delicate presentations to bigger flies and tougher conditions, and is designed to optimise lightness and balance.
Whether using the 5WT to gently land a dry in front of a yellowfish or to punch bulky tilapia imitations into the wind when chasing tigerfish with the 7WT, these Ström rods will make you fall in love with Loop.
