Originally called a Turd Burger, this articulated pattern was developed for targeting Spotted Grunter in the Western Cape, imitating a floating prawn. Since then, many variations and adaptations of this pattern have been developed. Some now incorporating different materials, the Turd fly is a classic, tied with deer hair allowing the pattern to float.
